A not so good story

If story is not good, then why am I writing it?
It’s a horror story and not everybody likes scary story..right? so here it goes….
In the middle of the well equipped society there was this beautiful house,….unoccupied. Nobody lived there but everybody talked about it. It was said to be haunted.
Like usual teens there was a group of teens in society always curious about the house. They always wanted to see the house, how beautiful it may be from inside when it is so beautiful from outside.
One fine day a man showed up as owner of the house, he lived in for three days and he was unharmed. This was enough for those teens to believe that the house is not haunted and it is safe to wander around and peek inside the house. But was it actually safe??
They all decided to peek into the house in day time to have a clear look, while the owner was gone! All of them met near the house and went near to the windows to have a look inside but oh, the owner showed up. He was a nice looking man, he was not mad at those teens instead he invited them in. but there was a condition, they were not allowed to touch anything, not even curtains, not even chairs, nothing.
They all went inside the house agreeing with the man. It was beautiful, beautiful than they ever imagined, white interiors with golden touch. Everything was pure white and it was like a fairy tale. The teens were mesmerized with everything and none of them dared to touch anything.
They came out of the house after some time and thanked the owner to allow them to see the house. All of them were busy in talking about the without realizing a fact that one of their friends didn’t come out!!
Where was he? A few days later, his sister too went missing!! The very next day, their third sibling too went missing! The parents were horrified and there was not a single clue that could lead them to their children. The cops were trying to find the owner but none of those teens remember the face of the owner and as per neighbors, nobody ever visited the house!!
A few days later someone showed up at house of those missing siblings. The father was shocked to see the guy- how can he be alive, I killed him with my own hands in that house-yes in that beautiful house. I cooked up the story that the house is haunted so that nobody could ever know what happened there!! How come the dead is alive. The father shouted, cried, asked him to what has “he” done to the kids. The dead man smiled and asked for justice for his death. The father agreed that he killed him-his brother, to get the ownership of the house, which he could never get.
The dead man laughed and disappeared in thin air! Everyone heard the confession, everyone!!!

That house is now actually haunted-haunted by those kids and their uncle- do not enter!!!

4 quick dishes you can make with Suji

Suji is one of the lightest digestive food. Mostly used in making Halwa (Indian sweet dish) and Upma(South Indian dish), i here share with you some more snacks that can be made from suji. All dishes are shared from Tanaaya's Kitchen.

Dhokla
This spongy, sweet-sour Gujarati dish is usually made from gram flour, but it can quickly be cooked with Suji too. It is tasty, healthy and different:
Serve it hot with your favorite chutney/sauce and fried green chilies.

Suji Toast
This is a twist to usual toast. It adds flavor to your usual boring toast. Plus it is a healthier way to include vegetables too.
Add you favorite vegetables in suji batter and serve with cheese and your favorite chutney/sauce.

Suji Pakoras
Pakoras are usually made with gram flour but with suji you can give it a new twist!! These are healthier and easily digestive!!

Add your favorite vegetables in the batter, serve hot with tea!!

GolGappa
Last but not least, our most favorite suji Golgappas/PaniPuri/Puchkas etc.
Serve stuffed golgappas with anything you enjoy with it!!

When my heart broke for the first time

No, this is not a love story.

Yes, my heart broke because I was in love and wasn’t allowed to be with it.

My love was dancing!!! I loved to dance and participated a lot in extra-curricular activities during school and college days.

So this one time I was in class 9 and we had to throw best of luck party to our seniors, i.e. class 10 students. So I along with my classmates decided the song, the costume and other stuff. We asked other section’s students too if they wanted to participate with us, they refused. So we took permission from our teachers and started practicing.
It was already 2 days with practicing, suddenly students from other section came to us with a teacher accusing us that these “A section” students haven’t asked them out about the participation.
Why did I quoted A section thing- our school had Ability section i.e. the A section wherein students scoring 75% and above were kept.

So, we all were taken aback and the teacher told us that she would decide who will participate and who will not. I was upset since accuse came from one of my friends from other section. So this teacher asked us to dance, we all started off and I being perturbed a little more couldn’t follow steps. So clearly this teacher pulled me out and said, “people will laugh if they will see you dancing”!!
My heart broke-the first time!! I hid my tears went to washroom and cried there. My friends told this teacher that I was a constant participant and she being new to school doesn’t know this but she was not willing to let me participate.

I went back to my class, my eyes swollen and the teacher who was in class asked me what happened, I told him everything! He said, that teacher is new probably she doesn’t know about you let me talk to her. I firmly said I don’t want to participate anymore!! He was sad too because he knew how much I loved to dance!! He tried consoling me but I was angry and didn’t want to participate at all.
After this incidence whenever I was asked to participate I used to avoid it since those words started ringing in my ears.
My school changed and there too I didn’t participate in anything! I came to college, I didn’t participate but then in second year one of my school friends who was in my college encouraged me as she knew what happened in past. She told me move on and let bygones be bygones!! All thanks to her and I was back on track participating in dancing, plays and more.

Why I wrote this? We restrict ourselves or stop our potentials to grow by listening to others. Things that made me happy I stopped doing that for a long time!! I am not a dancer or an actor but I enjoy doing these things which is important.

So a simple message to all, do what you love(ethic things okay) and not stop if someone tries to stop you!!

That lady in yellow saree!!!

So, what’s so different about a lady wearing yellow saree!!

Well this one was different. It’s a scary incidence which still scares me. Me n my family went for a dinner to our relatives place, while we were returning it was quite late already!

We were a few kilometers away from our home and there used to be circle that we needed to cross. That circle is usually empty and dark at that hours and there was a medical shop at the corner which was still open!!

While crossing that shop me n my father saw a woman in yellow saree, fully dressed up with ornaments as if she was returning from some marriage! Odd part, there was no vehicle around, no other person around, she was standing besides the wall of that medical shop and she had a ear wide smile on her face. She was few meters away from us but we could clearly see us and she could clearly see us too. For few seconds our eyes glued to each other and as connection broke I was scared as hell n so was my father!! Mom n sis saw her too but they didn’t bother much. Me n papa were numb and scared as we told them about her! They laughed about it and asked us to brush it off!!

We couldn’t brush off that incidence till today! That face is still fresh in my mind and whenever I visit that medical shop I still recall this incidence!

A funny, near death experience

I agree that the title is confusing, how can death be funny. Well you'll get to know after i complete this story.
So it was a winter night and we were thinking "what to cook for dinner?"- universal question!!!
I am fan of pakoras(Indian fried snack -https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pakora)  and i always tend to find some reason or the other to have them. So since it was winters, having hot pakoras was enough reason to have them. Though it is not an option as dinner but we usually have it as dinner.
So, this story backs to 2003, there was no electricity that day and we didn't have invertor either, so we decided to cook in candle light.
Me n my mom were cooking and then suddenly that candle flipped into the pan that had hot oil. We took out the candle from the other end lit it again and continued with our work.
After enjoying our so called dinner, me n mom went into kitchen to clean it up and electricity was back by then.
What we saw blew our minds, there was a thick layer of candle floating over the oil. Me n mom were scared and we thought "oh god, is it our last dinner!!!"
We told my father n my sis what we saw but then they were not scared(or they showed us that they were not scared). Me n mom were still scared thinking something will happen to us.
But hey we woke up next day, nothing happened and me n mom are still mocked for this incidence!!!
So, now you know why this death experience is funny!!!

I wish I can thank that stranger

So this is a story from my life and i want to share it as a gesture to thank that stranger who helped us that night.

I do not remember exact things as i was only 5 years old that time but i remember enough.
We often travel to our holy Shrine "Kaila Devi", which is situated in a village Karauli (Rajasthan). It was a usual journey, we visited the temple, took blessings and headed for the other temple "Madan Mohan ji". By the time we reached there the temple was closed and was to open in evening after 5 o'clock. We had to leave for our hometown so we decided to visit the temple some other time.
You see my father has special affection for this particular temple and whenever he "skipped" visiting this temple, something awful awaits him but there is always a help too.
Kaila Devi Temple

As we decide to head towards our hometown which was supposed to be 3-4 hours by road, we decided to board a bus. And from here the story begins, the drivers got into some fight, i don't know what it was about, all i remember is we got late there itself. After a few hours or so, the bus started and something other was waiting ahead of us. Since past few days it was raining quite heavily in that area and small rivers got flooded up, chocking the roads. The bus was able to cross one of the roads flooded with water but it lost its way and got stuck in middle of the other river. It was midnight and people were struggling to get out of bus but then there was enough water outside that it was not easy to cross the river. The locals somehow got to know about this and came up for help. They carried people one by one from the bus to the other side. We were out of the bus but then to move forward the locals arranged a "jugaad" (roughly translated as hack, you can read meaning here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jugaad ). Below is the image of the Jugaad:

We thought all should be well now and somehow we would be able to reach some safe place but then to our surprise after a few kilometers the "jugaad" broke down. It was around 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning we were walking on a random road with strangers. We stopped at a dhaba which opened up seeing so many people. My father decided to spend rest of the night at that dhaba since there was no other place to go. Out of nowhere a stranger came to my father and offered a helping hand saying his house is nearby and that we can spend the night at his house. Initially my father hesitated but then that person insisted saying that the place is not so safe for keeping your children and wife here, my father accepted his help though he was scared too. We reached this guy's home in no time and he woke his wife to cook food for us (yes, in the middle of the night) and she actually cooked for us nice hot food and we were damn hungry. We spent the night and in the morning he got us know that we can a catch a local bus to reach the railway station and from there we can catch a train to reach our hometown(there was no other option for us). My father thanked him a lot and we were able to catch that bus which not only carried humans but there were hens, goats, sheep etc. etc.
So we reached railway station, got tickets for general compartment and now the train got delayed by 4 hours. We waited at the station and then the train arrived(after 4 hours). Since it was general coach there was no place to stand forget about sitting, our father carried my sister and 2 bags, my mother carried me and somehow managed to travel in that coach.
We did arrive to our hometown, roughly in around 24 hours.
I remember this journey though being quite young as we used to discuss about this journey and always thanked that guy in our prayers.
I wish i could meet him in person now and thank him for his help.
I wouldn't be able to recognize him though but will always pray for him and his family, may god bless him always.
